CA Sports Fest 2025

The CA Sri Lanka Australia Chapter recently organized the “CA Sports Fest”, a fun-filled day that brought together members and their families for an unforgettable experience. The event was held on the 9th of February 2025 at the EN Sports Arena in Pakenham and was an initiative of the Chapter to promote camaraderie and well-being among its members and their families. From start to finish, the day was packed with exciting activities, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.

The event kicked off with an energizing welcome session, where attendees were greeted with enthusiasm and an invitation to join in on the day’s activities. The highlights of the day included a wide range of engaging games and sports, catering to participants of all ages. Whether it was a friendly cricket match, a spirited round of badminton, or interactive games for the little ones, everyone had the chance to participate and showcase their talents. The competitive spirit was light-hearted, ensuring that the focus remained on having fun and building connections.

Beyond the sports, the event featured a number of family-friendly activities, including dancing competitions for members and their families of all ages and blindfold challenge for children: placing the eye on the elephant. The laughter and excitement echoed through the day, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere.

To fuel the fun, a delicious lunch and beverages were available for all attendees, allowing participants to relax, mingle, and recharge between sessions. The event was made even more lively with the addition of DJ music, setting the perfect mood for the day.

One of the most cherished aspects of the day was the opportunity for CA Sri Lanka members to connect with fellow professionals in a more relaxed setting. It provided a unique opportunity for networking, not in the usual business environment, but in a fun and informal atmosphere that encouraged personal connections and strengthened the sense of community.

The event wrapped up with a prize ceremony to celebrate the winners of various games and the awarding of special tokens of appreciation to the organizing committee, but the true victory of the day was the sense of unity and joy that everyone shared. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of balancing work with moments of fun and connection.

Overall, the CA Sports Fest organized by the CA Sri Lanka Australia Chapter was a huge success, leaving participants with happy memories and stronger bonds within the community. It was a day that highlighted the chapter’s commitment to supporting its members, fostering relationships, and promoting a healthy work-life balance.
